The Knowledge Labs took place following the closing of plenary on Monday 25 September 2017. The 45-minute session is envisaged as a platform where stakeholders can share relevant information in relation to the life cycle of mercury and the Minamata Convention.
The Knowledge Labs highlighted on  specific information in relation to one or more of the articles under the Convention. Governments, intergovernmental organizations and civil society organizations are invited to provide participants with a more in-depth understanding of a specific technical issue under the Convention.
The Knowledge Labs are envisaged as an interactive forum for presenters and participants to have a dialogue in relation to a particular issue of concern or interest under the Convention.
