It is a capacity-building camp for students which involves them in field trips, including practical and theoretical activities on sustainability and conservation, with the aim to develop leadership skills amongst the students so they play an active role in the future of environmental conservation. ESDO teaches the children (the leaders and decision-makers of tomorrow) that environmental degradation is one of the world\u2019s biggest concerns.<a href=\"http:\/\/esdo.org\/esdo\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/ECNC.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-965\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-965 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/esdo.org\/esdo\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/ECNC-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"ECNC\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/esdo.org\/old\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/ECNC-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/esdo.org\/old\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/ECNC-768x513.jpg 768w, https:\/\/esdo.org\/old\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/ECNC-150x100.jpg 150w, https:\/\/esdo.org\/old\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/ECNC.jpg 800w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Objectives of ECNC<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The long-term objective of the program is \u2013<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>to develop a second generation of environmental leaders who will play an active role in the future of environmental management by taking a stand, continuing to educate, promote, and advocate for the environment. As the younger generations will carry the burden of a distressed environment &#8211; a legacy of past and present generations, ESDO feels that such education should be priority in our schooling system.<\/li>\n<li>Addressing national policy and is dedicated to ensuring that environmental education becomes a mainstream subject within the national educational curriculum.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Initiatives of ESDO<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">The education process in Bangladesh is very traditional.
