Building a zero waste community is the need for time for sustainability. To discuss this important issue ESDO is organized a policy dialogue on 13th February 2022.

Respected Chairperson of ESDO, Syed Marghub Murshed, Former Secretary, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh presided over the discussion.

Md. Moniruzzaman and Ms. Keya Khan Additional Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change graced the event as Special Guest. Md, Mokhlesur Rahman, Former Additional IGP of Bangladesh Police was the Guest of Honour of this event.
Brig Gen Md. Zobaidur Rahman, Chief Health Officer, Dhaka North City Corporation, Mr. Shibu K Nair, Coordinator, GAIA India, Quach Thi Xuan, Coordinator, Vietnam Zero Waste Alliance, and Dr. Daru Setyarini, Waterkeeper Asia Pacific, Ecoton were the guest speakers of this event.

Furthermore, Representatives from different Ministries and Departments of Bangladesh and experts from different Asia Pacific countries were also present at the meeting.
