Environment and Social Development Organization-ESDO in association with Alliance Française de Dhaka organized a Documentary Screening titled ‘Journey Towards Zero-Waste on 25th July 2022 at Alliance Française de Dhaka. The goal of the animated documentary screening on Reduce, Refuse, Reuse & Recycle and Waste Segregation was to demonstrate how adopting the 4R approach may make our life simpler and healthier. Outstanding actor Azizul Hakim, veteran actress Dilara Zaman, and renowned singer Rezwana Chowdhury Bonna appeared in another video documentary on simple ways to live a zero-waste lifestyle that was also shown at the event.

Honorable Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Habibun Nahar, MP graced the event as the chief guest. Former Secretary of Bangladesh and Chairperson of ESDO, Syed Marghub Murshed honored the event as the session chair. Md. Moniruzzaman, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change joined the event as a special guest. Actor Azizul Hakim and Dilara Zaman were also present at the event. Apart from this, the students and teachers of Lalmatia Housing Society School and College and journalists from different channels, newspapers, and online portals participated in this event.
