Students in Mymensingh are now Environmental leaders!

The Plastic-Free Campus Project, led by the Environment and Social Development Organization-ESDO and supported by Mutual Trust Bank PLC (MTB), is engaging students in practical environmental learning and action across three schools in the Mymensingh Division.
Through the Mymensingh phase of the project, at least 150 students have been engaged in learning about plastic pollution, waste management, and responsible waste practices. Beyond awareness, students are gaining hands-on experience through activities such as waste segregation, plastic audits, plastic-use tracking, teamwork, and problem-solving,helping foster a new generation of environmentally responsible and active youth leaders.
As part of the initiative, students also received a range of Information, Education and Communication (IEC) materials to support continued learning and everyday action.
Participating schools in Mymensingh are Kakni Model Academy High School, Mukul Niketon High School and Nasirabad Collegiate School. Together, we can turn environmental awareness into everyday action and create campuses where reducing plastic waste becomes a shared responsibility.
