Environment and Social Development Organization (ESDO) hosted a “Consultation with Small and Medium Entrepreneurs (SMEs)” at the ESDO headquarters on September 16, 2023. These entrepreneurs are experts in developing eco-friendly products that mitigate environmental damage. Their knowledge and expertise can offer valuable guidance to businesses and policymakers in making responsible and sustainable decisions.
ESDO has hosted three community fairs and one National fair in the last year, all of which highlighted eco-friendly products and sustainable packaging for a greener future. ESDO is going to host a National Fair this year focused on single-use plastic alternative products, providing an essential platform for innovative entrepreneurs to exhibit their eco-friendly alternatives to single-use plastics. Our main objective is to promote these sustainable alternatives and raise awareness about the harmful effects of single-use plastics on our environment and society. The entrepreneurs contributed valuable suggestions and feedback to ensure the fair’s success. By collaborating with producers of single-use plastic alternatives, we aim to collectively expedite the shift towards a more environmentally conscious and sustainable future.
