Profile

Khalilur Rahman completed his B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Geography and Env. Studies from the University of Chittagong. He has been working on diverse environmental and public health projects, i.e., eco-village, zero-waste village, eco-tourism, plastic & toxic-free world. He is focused on project development and implementation, event management, and media relations. He develops partnerships with communities and relevant stakeholders.

Noshin Naila

Noshin Naila holds a BSc and an MSc in Geography and Environment from Shahjalal University of Science and Technology. Specializing in environmental pollution, sustainable development, climate change, and environmental justice, she has conducted extensive research to mitigate the impacts of these issues on communities and ecosystems. Dedicated to advancing environmental initiatives and promoting sustainable practices, Noshin is passionate about fostering a sustainable and just world, making significant contributions to environmental science and advocacy.

Sharmin Azad Liza

Sharmin Azad Liza is a dedicated public health professional with a strong academic and clinical background in dentistry and public health. She holds a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from Bangladesh Dental College and a Master of Public Health (MPH) from Bangladesh University of Health Sciences, with a focus on epidemiology and community health. metal contamination, environmental toxicology, health risks, and GIS-based
environmental analysis. Passionate about creating a healthier and sustainable
Earth. She is dedicated to applying research and projects to reduce environmental pollution and promote a toxic-free environment.

Sadmeen Sadaf Jahan

Sadmeen Sadaf Jahan holds both a Bachelor’s & and Master’s degree in Soil, Water & Environmental Science from the University of Dhaka. With a focused academic background in Environmental Pollution, Environmental Quality, Soil Sampling & Analysis, Sustainable Development and Geographic Information Systems (GIS), she has conducted extensive research on Microplastic Pollution and its impact on Plant Growth. Passionate about combating plastic and heavy metal poisoning, Sadmeen is dedicated to create a sustainable future for generations to come.

Ayesha Mostafa holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Soil, Water and Environment from the University of Dhaka. Her academic and professional pursuits reflect a strong interest in environmental pollution, climate change, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), and environmental management. She has cultivated significant expertise in Remote Sensing technology as well as environmental degradation and climate change research. As an environmental advocate, Ayesha has a dedicated focus on the global implementation of sustainable development practices.

Joohee Kim holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Animal Science and Technology from Chung-Ang University, South Korea. She studied wildlife ecology and her research focused on how urban landscapes influence birds. She is particularly interested in how research on environmental issues can inform policy, and how it can be effectively adopted within communities.

Shaberu Rahman Shatu completed her BSc and MSc. in Geography and Environment from Jahangirnagar University, Savar. She currently works as a Project Lead at Environment and Social Development Organization- ESDO. Her work focuses on environmental research, sustainable textile production, and chemical management. She has experience in policy advocacy, stakeholder engagement, and research on chemicals of concern, hazardous waste, and environmental impacts of the textile sector in Bangladesh. Her research interests include GIS and remote sensing, climate change, environmental governance, and disaster risk management.

Rifayat Khan Shishir

Rifayat Khan Shishir is an environmental researcher specializing in climate change impacts on health, disaster management, climate-induced migration, and GIS & Remote Sensing. With a B.S. and M.S. in Geography and Environment from the University of Dhaka, he is dedicated to environmental policy advocacy, sustainability, creating a toxic-free future, and a climate-resilient society aligned with the SDGs. Beyond research, he is a passionate storyteller, avid reader, and explorer of diverse cultures.

Ashfia Mahbub Rafa completed her Bachelor of Laws with Honours (LL.B. Honours) from Jagannath University, Dhaka. Her professional interest lies in the intersection of human rights and environmental health, focusing on corporate accountability and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) principles. With her extensive experience in human rights, she is dedicated to conveying her expertise and skills to raise awareness among the masses.

Nilufa Easmin holds a BSc in Zoology from the National University. With over three years of experience as a professional graphic designer, she has honed her skills in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. She completed a year-long internship at Inspired IT in Rangpur, where she further refined her craft. Currently, she is responsible for executing graphic design tasks with creativity and precision.

Heera Choi completed her B.S.c. in Economics and International Economics from Grenoble Alpes University and the University of Quebec at Montreal. Through her participation in the National Model United Nations (NMUN), including sessions of the United Nations Environment Assembly (UNEA), she developed a strong interest in environmental sustainability and international development while strengthening her communication and collaboration skills in multicultural policy discussions. She further applied these strengths while working in the communications team at a global accelerator in South Korea, supporting content development and social media management and becoming proficient in visual communication tools such as Canva.

Ramisa Rahman pursued her BSS and MA in International Relations from Bangladesh University of Professionals and the University of Warwick, respectively. Her academic specialization centers on Transitional Justice and International Development, Global Environmental Politics, and Energy Security. Her professional experience centres around empowering startups working with SDGs and providing editorial and research quality oversight to young writers from Bangladesh and the UK.

With a strong academic foundation in Earth Science and climate studies, she is passionate about creating a plastic pollution-free world and promoting environmental sustainability. Her interests lie in exploring the intersection of geology, environmental issues, and communication. She has developed expertise in visual storytelling and digital communication, working with tools like DaVinci Resolve and Canva to produce impactful awareness content. Fariha aspires to contribute to environmental advocacy and sustainable development through both scientific knowledge and creative platform.

Samaha Sumain, completed BBA and MBA from Jashore University of Science and Technology majoring in Finance and Banking. She has strong financial management skills with project administration expertise. Her key strengths include budgeting, financial reporting, coordination, communication and organizational management. She has a strong interest in development work, project operations and applying financial knowledge to support sustainable and impact-driven initiatives.
