The Environment and Social Development Organization -ESDO conducted a mercury-free awareness campaign at Kishamot Sherpur Nurani Hafizia Madrasha in Rangpur, engaging students in an interactive learning session on the health and environmental risks associated with dental amalgam.
The session highlighted that dental amalgam contains mercury, which can pose risks to human health and the environment. Students were introduced to the importance of safer, mercury-free dental alternatives and encouraged to think about long-term health and environmental protection.
Through interactive discussions, students actively participated and showed great interest in learning about mercury-free dentistry. They were encouraged to share this knowledge with their families and communities to help spread awareness at the grassroots level.
This initiative aims to build early awareness among young learners, empowering them to become advocates for a safer, healthier, and mercury-free future.
