Collaborating for a Lead-Free Bangladesh!

We are thrilled to share the highlights of our recent collaborative meeting with Instiglio and LEEP, where key stakeholders—including representatives from the Ministry of Industry, BSTI, DoE, and UNICEF Bangladesh—came together to tackle the pressing issue of lead in decorative paints.

During the meeting, ESDO presented critical insights from our ongoing research and recent study findings, shedding light on the dangers of lead exposure. Our partners, Instiglio and LEEP, introduced their organizations’ global expertise and innovative approaches to eliminating lead pollution, reinforcing the importance of collective action.

To amplify our impact, ESDO and Instiglio signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), marking a significant step forward in our joint mission to eradicate lead poisoning in Bangladesh. This partnership will focus on:

  • Policy advocacy for stricter regulations,
  • Public awareness campaigns to educate communities,
  • Actionable solutions for a safer, healthier environment.

Together, we are paving the way for a lead-free future, safeguarding public health and ensuring sustainable development for generations to come.

Join us in this vital mission! Stay tuned for updates as we drive meaningful change.
