10 April, 2018: Environment and Social Development Organization-ESDO arranged another awareness raising campaign in Shahajpath School to spread the knowledge of the devastating effect of mercury in our daily used products specially in cosmetics. The event was started at 11:30 am and continued to 2:30 pm.
During the campaign, students were first given a lecture about what is mercury, its use in personal care products, how it create impact, and who are the sufferers. The lecture was given by Sayda Mehrabin Shejuti, Assistant Program Officer of ESDO.

After the lecture session a card and poster develop competition was arranged. Students developed beautiful messages and posters on ‘Campaign for Eliminating Mercury in Products’.

At the end they all urged saying ‘Stop Poisoning Yourself’ holding the banner in front of them.
